Michigan Christmas Tree Showcased by the Detroit Lions

A 33 foot tall Concolor Fir from Manton, Michigan was selected to grace Ford Field for the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day game, as well as a number of other events this holiday season.

The tree was professionally decorated in the team colors of Honolulu blue and silver and is significantly taller than the featured Christmas trees the past two seasons.  The relationship between the Michigan Christmas Tree Association and the Detroit Lions began three years ago and has included the spectacular Christmas tree, as well as special community events at Eastern Market in Detroit and a generous donation to Trees for Troops from alumni Detroit Lion, Herman Moore.
